Need to see us at our office? Valet services keep you safer!
Even during a pandemic, there are still critical foot care services that require in-person treatment. At the same time, you want to protect yourself and your family.
So, what can you do to get the care you need AND keep everyone safe?
Brook Valley Podiatry has the answer:
Valet medical service appointments!
Put simply, this is a safer way of getting the care you need, while also minimizing exposure to others. On top of that, we’ve ramped up our already stringent standards of cleanliness (with extra cleaning and sanitization measures between all interactions, etc.).
Valet medical service – keeping you safe at in-person appointments
What is a valet medical service?
Essentially, we are referring to increased measures we take to minimize your time spent in our office and maximize your distance from others.
At Brook Valley Podiatry, these include:
- Escorting you from your car. Instead of coming right in when you arrive, stay in your car and call us instead. When we are ready to receive you, we will come out to escort you straight to a private exam room.
- Letting you avoid the waiting room. While still there (and routinely sanitized) if you want it, you can entirely bypass the waiting room. If you need to fill out any paperwork, we can bring it to your car.
- Treating you in a private, disinfected exam room. We are spacing our appointments out to provide ample time to thoroughly clean each room between patient visits.
- Using personal protective equipment. This includes masks and gloves, following all CDC recommendations.
Who should use this service?
Valet services are a great choice for patients who:
- Need to come into the office for an emergency or special treatment (i.e., they have an urgent problem that cannot be handled remotely via telemedicine, or are a diabetic patient who requires special attention).
- Are considered “high risk” for COVID-19 or any other severe infectious diseases that could pose special health risks. If you live with someone who is high risk, these measures can also help keep you from bringing them back home.
If your appointment does not require an in-person visit (many initial consults and follow-up appointments fall into this category), telemedicine may be a better choice. Please review our service page on telemedicine for more information about this service or to contact us for an appointment.
